Evidence-based methods for maximizing treatment outcomes for children with speech sound disorders.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
- Understand recent changes to SSD classification systems.
- Describe the various methods for the assessment of developmental motor speech disorders according to the WHO-ICF-CY framework.
- Learn how to measure and interpret intervention-related change.
- Describe components of an effective treatment session for a child with motor speech disorders.
- Write goals to measure motor learning and treatment effectiveness.
