Aravind and his company Speech Research Centre has been supporting the Kaufman Children’s Center in research to practice consultations and providing knowledge to build and further the KCC’s clinical research program. He is truly inspirational, and a well -respected researcher of whom I have grown to admire and enjoy! We at the KCC are also grateful to Aravind and his company in offering research topics and speakers for which to continue our growth as a company and to contribute to our professional knowledge. A hearty thank you to a consummate professional and friend!

I have worked with Aravind on designing, developing and implementing multiple research projects, and grants, since 2014. In 2019 we completed a large scale RCT in which Aravind was also the main investigator. Aravind not only is truly brilliant, but he is also fun to work with! His work, driven by meticulous detail and a love of well-done research brings a new level of attention and creditability to the projects that he spearheads. I highly recommend Aravind and his team to any program looking for thorough, well executed design, budget and project.

Dr. Namasivayam conducted a Randomized Control Trial (RCT) for the PROMPT technique that was widely received as one of the best pieces of science that the speech pathology community has ever seen. The project was developed, designed, administered and reported completely by Dr. Namasivayam and his team. The superb project design included expanded data collection that massively increased the scope of the project. The data from the RCT will be studied for many years to come, providing our organization with valuable knowledge that we never thought was possible to acquire. We continue to be amazed at the return on investment we receive from the study - it has truly been a fantastic "bang for our buck"!

Dr. Aravind Namasivayam has been a much-valued collaborator for over 20 years in different roles and he never ceased to amaze me in terms of his dedication to our profession and his scientific acumen. His original research was in the area of stuttering and generated thought-provoking studies in support of a novel theory on the core aspects underlying dysfluent speech. Later, he expanded his research into the realm of paediatric speech sound disorders and again, was able to conduct innovative and ground-breaking studies in this area that have not only influenced our thinking about these disorders but also informed current government policies on treatment. Dr. Namasivayam is a true leader and innovator in the field of speech-language pathology who will continue to shape our theories, diagnoses and treatments on speech disorders for the foreseeable future.
