The Verbal Motor Production Assessment for Children – Revised (VMPAC-R) is now available. VMPAC-R is the only published, standardized and normed assessment of speech motor control in children.
Dr. Aravind Namasivayam at the University of Toronto successfully completed a large-scale treatment study on children with severe speech sound disorders using a well-controlled Randomized Controlled Trial Design (RCT).
Dr. Namasivayam’s recent publication “Speech Sound Disorders in Children: An Articulatory Phonology Perspective” resonates with many people as it was viewed more than 14000 times in the first 3 weeks of its publication.
The SRC is proud to be part of the MOSAIC (Mentorship for Orthophonie, Speech-Language Pathology and Audiologie/y In Canada) mentorship study. The purpose was to develop a new national entry-to-practice prototype program.
