Here is a social media post related to the previous on-line lectures (June 2018, August 2021): “Graduate Speech-Language Pathology students at Kean University (USA) received a very special treat today! Dr. Aravind Namasivayam (Researcher, Oral Dynamics Lab, University of Toronto) made a guest appearance via Skype during my Pediatric Motor Speech Development and Disorders class.

The students generated questions for discussion on various topics such as the utilization of equipment in the lab, his research agenda, current findings in the field, and methods for conducting research in the area of speech motor control. We had an extremely informative and valuable discussion about the impact of research on clinical practice. We even got a sneak peek at his current projects! This was such a positive learning experience and a great way to bridge research and clinicians/future clinicians “.
